2007-02-07 Development Release: rPath Linux 2.0 Alpha 2
Michael K. Johnson has announced the second alpha release of rPath Linux 2.0 for i386 and x86_64 processors: "The second development snapshot in the rPath Linux 2 Alpha release process has been made available. Most of the software included in the distribution has been updated, and it has been completely rebuilt from source since the first development snapshot. This includes latest X from X.Org and latest GNOME. There are many known issues in this snapshot: installation on at least some Thinkpad T43 models is known not to function; package selection has not yet been implemented in the installer - installation will require approximately 4GB and you cannot reduce this by de-selecting packages." Please read the full release announcement for more information. Download: rpl-devel-20070124-x86-disc1.iso (700MB), rpl-devel-20070124-x86-disc2.iso (584MB).
